The Zoo inside the Zoological Garden houses a wide variety of wild animals including tiger, white tiger, lion, leopard, jackal, fox, hyenas, brown bear, black bear and more. On a visit to this park one can have a glimpse of various varieties of deer, especially the spotted deer and sambhars. Other important attraction inside the park is a crocodile-breeding farm where one can see lots of crocodiles basking in the enclosed areas.
Zoological Garden is the best place to visit for the avid bird-watchers as this park houses numerous bird species of which some of them are endangered. There is a separate section dedicated to birds where one can find birds like white peacock, ducks, goose, parrot, pheasant, chatting lorry and lots more. This is also home to a large variety of migratory birds including pelicans, painted stork, black-necked storks, cranes, white ibis and much more.
